Life at it's fundamental level is about competition for resources, evolution has been driven by this competition since the big bang or conception, of protozoa, bacteria, plants, animals, and finally humans. This what we call evolution and the multiplication of all life being, weather human, animals or plants, it drives us to the conflict of war. It is very simple to understand, but at the same time we somehow overlooking this by not focusing on the most basic things that happens during life expansion, this is what we call the survivor of the fittest, this is what we call war for new resources for human need for human evolution. It is a fact that as a species of any population grows, the pressure of its natural resources increases.
Biology is a complex mechanism, which is self teaching itself always to come trough in its darkest moments, also has invented a million ways over and over again for plants and animals to compete with each other. Tree's compete with each other by growing taller so they can reach the sunlight, mammals competed with dinosaurs by coming out at night, chimps and especially male chimps compete for food, space and reproductive opportunities by fighting with each other.
Humans have many ways of covering up wars, one is religious the other is political which includes philosophical at the same time. But the battle for resources is below the surface. Just a couple of examples of this, is when Hitler decided that he had to concur the East for the Germans to have more space and resources at the same time. Japan knew that to access the Indonesian oil was to attack Perl Harbor. This has happened before Christ and after Christ and is still happening. They are many examples they are numerous, you can imagine them, I do not have to write all of them. A little imagination goes a long way. Competition for resources has led to violence everywhere we look. The thought that rapid population growth could increase conflicts is hardly new concept, Karl Marx who did in fact got some thing right, that economic patterns also help determine who controls and who has access to resources.
In the past fifty years, the world has accommodated rapid population growth tolerably well, although as rising oil and food prices suggest, this may not be true in the future.
So just have an open mind and look for troubled geographic areas, also look to the east were the sun is rising, and see if when the sun comes up every day is more reddish than other day's. Even the bible has stated that the earth will rumble from the east.
